Thorns

Mindless hate twists through my heart
Piercing it like thorns In these thorns
I am entangled
Gasping for the breathe of compassion I once knew

In my solemn hour I cry out for your help
Barely a whisper, the thorns strangle me
Save me from these torrents of torture!
Lift me out of this hell I have created!
Wake me from this nightmare!

Why do you ignore my cries?
Still, you are silent as the grave
Am I forsaken this time?
Where art thou, my King?

My love has been wrenched from my heart
Thrown into the abyss of interminable night
Will I wander it forever, enduring this horrible blight?
The thorns constrict me, chasing out the light

Again, I call your name But are you even there?

Everytime I think about you, my tears i can't hide,I lust to be by your side,I know I said I was not going to cry for you,But just being without you turns my world grey,I lay outside watching the clouds as they pass me by,I can't help but seem to wonder why?.Why cant I get you out of my mind,You were a guy who was one of a kind,And now that your gone,I can't seem to move on,You were the only one who could make me smile,I may not do that for a while,The feeling went by so fast,I never thought I would have to put you in the past,We said we were never going to part,I guess we did and how it happened I regret,Now there is nothing I can do,But just sit down and think of you.
